Roles and Responsibility

Accounts Officer:

 

No of position: 1

Location : Chennai

 

Responsibilities:

 

           Registration of the Project Office with various Government Agencies.

           Applying and obtaining TAN from the Income Tax Dept

           Attending to day to day accounting, treasury and  invoicing matters

           Preparing and filing periodical (monthly, quarterly and annual) tax returns under various Acts as mentioned at 1 above and arranging payments.

           Preparation of monthly MIS reports

           Meeting the requirements of : Group audit, Loacl GAAP audit, Tax audit, Transfer pricing audit, if applicable audit by the Govt Depts

           Arranging for import licenses where required

           Coordinating with FTFE Finance team for annual consolidation and IFRS Compliance

           Attending to the compliance matters relating to the Project Office

           Attending to tax assessments

           Maintaining statutory records as required

           To coordinate with us in FTRTIL and external tax consultants on various  tax issues that are of high importance concerning this project.



Desired Candidate
Minimum 4-5 Yrs of experience in managing accounting and finance for a site office(s) involving multiple stakeholders right from client, contractors, employees, Govt offices to vendors. The person needs to have the experience of using acounting software. The candidate needs to be self-driven and proactive in his communication with various stakeholders. And subject matter expertise (e.g. excise duty, documentation) is a MUST.
