Roles and Responsibility:


Responsible for improving the productivity of an organizations employees. Responsible for the effective development, coordination and presentation of training and development programs for all employees. Assess organization-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives. Identify and arrange suitable training solutions for employees.

Create and deliver effective training to support continued people development within the organization across multiple functional areas. This includes the design and facilitation of programs, presentation of material, vendor management and administration of the entire learning process.


Key Areas of Responsibility


? Devising a training strategy and managing the delivery of training and development programmes for the organisation.

? Customize department training strategies or modules for functional skills, technical skills and behavioural skills.

? Plan, develop, and provide training and employee development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.

? Create a framework and tracking mechanism to track enhancement of the skills.



? Learning Solution design for business operations covering training needs analysis, training approach, content strategy, design & development approach and delivery modes.

? Lay down the skill set requirements for each position in the company in the area of both technical & behavioural skills.

? Develop enhancement programmes for each type of skill.

? Identifying training and development needs within an organisation through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with reporting.

? Working with business leaders and managers to identify training needs and trends within the business.

? Designing and expanding training and development programmes based on both the organisation's and the individual's needs.

? Considering the costs of planned programmes and keeping within budgets and assessing the return on investment for training or development programme.

? Developing effective induction programmes.

? Having an understanding of e-learning techniques and implementing the same.

? Researching new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and implementing appropriate methodology.

? Set-up systems and process to determine the gaps or skill enhancement requirements and conduct skill enhancement session on a regular basis.

? Evaluate trainers and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement.

? Manage multiple training and development vendors and evaluate their effectiveness and/or performance.

? Frequently communicate training and development progress and results with the key stakeholders.

? Periodic MIS preparation and presentation.



? Create framework for training needs analysis covering business context, job roles and responsibilities, and training areas.

? Identifying the training vendors

? Creating a training pool

? Be a central point of control for all the training initiatives conducted in the organisation.



? Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.

? Engaging with, motivating and mentoring team at all levels to ensure high performance and growth.

Experience & Skills

Mandatory Experience Required


? Experience of designing and delivering a variety of training solutions which includes both technical and non-technical trainings.

? Budget management experience.

? People Management experience.

? Articulate and confident standing up and delivering to large audiences.

? Experience in design, create, and evaluating training materials, manuals or documentation.

? Demonstrated ability to increase productivity and continuously improve methods and approaches.

? Demonstrated results in metrics and evaluation of blended performance improvement interventions

? Must be an excellent trainer and leader.

? Must be able to inspire and motivate.
